I just wanted to let you know how impressed we are with the quality of Allied Window’s interior storms and with the professionalism of the installation crew. Super nice guys!
The color match on the third floor is perfect as is the design and fit of the arched window sections of our “signature” window. We can’t wait for our next concert on April 6 to hear and feel the difference the windows will have on sound and comfort.
The second-floor installation is nearing completion now and, it too, is going very well.
Kudos for a fine job. You can add the Delphi Opera House to your list of satisfied customers. We will be very pleased to recommend Allied Windows in the future!

First of all, Dave and I cannot thank you enough. You have helped us complete all the windows in our 1878 row home in Lancaster Pa. We lovingly bought the windows over a 20 some years period. We have always had to save for anything we have done to our house, and your windows are worth the wait each time. The windows are beautiful, and unobtrusive to the profile of the window itself, and they make any season of the year easier and more comfortable.
Adam Butler of Iconic Windows did a great job installing them. Careful, clean and considerate.
The most difficult, were the 3 windows that face the street, the screens are not accessible from the ground, and must be put in from the inside. They are beautiful.
A problem came up with the two back windows. Where the middle of each window meets, the mounting device to hold the screen didn’t line up with the actual window top and bottom. No one was sure how it happened. As homeowners we wanted it to look perfect, and were afraid of how the company would react.
We cannot tell you enough times, how grateful we are that the problem will be fixed at no charge to David and I. Allied Windows was kind and professional, living up to their reputation.
We know that you, Melanie, had a lot to do with that, thank you again. Allied Window, we have always been so proud to have your product on our old lady. Thank you for making this process work out for us.
Please do not feel any need to rush these two corrected window units through your already busy production schedule. Knowing that it will happen when you can do it, and that Adam Butler will install, gives us peace of mind.

Heritage Restoration from Providence just completed the installation of our new Allied Storm Windows and they look great! Though the wait was quite long, longer than either Allied or Heritage predicted, the outcome was worth the wait. We are grateful to Allied for matching our paint samples exactly! I had prepared myself for colors that did not quite match, but you did not disappoint!
Allied makes great looking, and I hope enduring, storm windows. I am so glad that I found Allied Window, Inc. (internet search!) and that we were able to see samples in person, and for the connection to Heritage Restoration. Heritage was great to work with, again a bit slow on the response, but worth the patience.
I am hoping that at some point we can convert the remainder of our storms to Allied Storm Windows.

While we can manufacture custom wood storm windows, we prefer to use Allied Window (http://alliedwindow.com). While these are “aluminum” storms, they offer a good selection of standard colors and have the ability to match any color you might choose with their custom color option. I like them because they offer many more design option than can be achieved with wood products, have very small sight lines, and require very little maintenance as compared to wood storms.

The windows look perfect. Chris did a nice job helping with carrying them in the house. A through G fit perfectly. The stamps on the windows are hard to read after painting, but I will figure them out. Chris saw where they are going. Lots of homes in our area could use your product. There is lots of need and, in my opinion, little competition to marketing here.

Dear Allied Window,
I’m a very satisfied “residential customer” who’s Historic One Lite storm windows have been in place and worked beautifully for over thirty years.
My inquiry for the name of a “local dealer” results from the fact that the house painter redoing my exterior sash removed a number of the storms and, in reinstalling them, didn’t do so properly. As such, storms are “binding” and setting in as they should. Likewise, the bottom spacer bars were not in a number of cases reinstalled correctly and the window frames were not re-caulked. I also have at least one (possibly two) glass inserts where a crack has appeared and also several screens that have developed small holes.
I have several more windows where storms might help so there will likely be some “new work” as well.
I love your product and suggested Allied to others over the years. I regret allowing the painter to convince me that he would remove and re-install the windows as this clearly has not proved to be the case. Any assistance here would be much appreciated.

Your two installers were great! I found it hard to imagine that all those windows went in so fast. Today we did the change-over to screens and although we had to learn a few ‘secrets’, all went well.

The windows have been a big hit – people have commented that they’re almost invisible – in fact, we had one person that accidentally bumped their head on the glass because they were focusing on the old Factory window glass.
I was obviously distressed about the installation delays, but we were fortunate in that the customer delayed other pieces of the installation so we were able to work with the delay.

My wife and I have spent the last 22 years restoring a 200-yr. old half Georgian Brick home. The home has been reasonably maintained but extensively “re-muddled” as we like to say – not the least of which were the standard storm windows which clashed with the 9-over-6 pane structure. Yes, we considered your storm windows a “bit pricey”, but so was everything else we purchased (i.e.: light fixtures, door hardware, etc.) as we strove to restore the home as authentically as we could with the best quality products we could afford. Not being a business corporation or government agency paying to accomplish this restoration, we purchased these things as we could afford them, thus we’re in our 22nd year and just now nearing completion. I can say without hesitation; your windows were the very best purchase we made for three principle reasons:
- They allow the beautiful craftsmanship and old glass to be seen without the usual distraction standard storms generate.
- They do an excellent job of providing an efficient temperature barrier, and we were able to see the difference in our energy bill
- They provide such great protection from the elements that I have not had to repaint the covered surfaces since putting them in.
